Makes it all sweeter that it was in London, and I witnessed the wrestling yesterday and the weightlifting 105+ kg final.

It's been a fantastic experience. The Iranian fans were electric in excel arena (where martial arts/weightlifting) takes place. They were as loud as ever, and created a real noise in the arena.

Guys, we may not witness a better Olympic. This year, was just fantastic.. Maybe Hadadi should've got Gold after leading for most of the round, maybe Karami would've got Gold in the final in taekwondo, so many maybe's,if's and but's.. however the reality, is that all these athletes put 100% maximum effort.. whether they came back with empty hands,Bronze,Silver or Gold - THEY ALL DID US PROUD!!!!!

But seriously, we shouldn't restrict our memory to only those that won us medals. Others such as Mazaheri, Alamiyan, Rouzbahani, Elaheh Ahami, Abdevali, and Yazdani all deserve special credit.

Our athletes have reconstructed our image of what we call Iran. They have redefined the virtues of what we want to belong to and they have cleared the name of this beautiful country from all the shit that has been thrown onto it by those who pretend to be Iranians. With so much difficulties they face at home, they still managed to overcome it and made a tremendous impact throughout the tournament. 30+ years of sanctions and we still produce great talent!
