Now this could turn into an exciting match, since there are a lot of Turkish people living in The Netherlands and will go with another thousands Turks to the stadium, it's sold out. And both teams haven't perfomed well recently, so the outcome is quite unpredictable.

Lately, The Netherlands are suffering. They went to home after EURO 2012 with 0 out of 3 and failed to impress. Few weeks ago, the Belgian neighbours crushed them surprisingly 4-2.

On the other hand, Turkey failed to qualifiy for EURO 2012 after losing 0-3 to Croatia in the play-offs. They had a friendly game against Austria few weeks ago and lost 0-2(!).

^ True, Holland made a lot stupid mistakes in the defence, but Turkey didn't take advantage of it.


Their central defence is somewhat very weak and I don't think they will make it to the finals like in 2010. Many key players like Ooijer & van Bronckhorst have retired from international football. However I think they will make it to WC 2014, group D doesn't seem to be very hard.
