Come on man! What kind of a messed up friend would I be if I do that!? Plus, if he doesn't know 100% then I don't know 100%.
He has some serious thinking to do and after exchanging texts with him day and night for the last few days, I have decided to give him some space as he has to make a very tough decision in such short period of time. I am sure he is getting bombarded by reps from the schools he picked. With twitter and Facebook, my guess is we find out at the same time as everyone else. I am sure he will tweet it the moment he decides even before telling me so you guys tell me! haha!
All I am doing is waiting to see where he picks and then select some games that would fit my schedule so I could travel and watch the games in person.

I am sure it is going to be all of the above and fb!
Anyways, having followed American sports for the longest time, I have a feeling that this will be leaked by tomorrow night or Sunday. It certainly won't be leaked by me or Arsalan or anyone we know. I think someone from the school or media will find out and say something!! I mean besides lebrons decision and cp3 to the lakers practically every other trade and commitment in pros and college has been leaked beforehand by these so called " sources".
Trust me, I can't wait until he announces so I can get this off of my chest

haha good call. Should get a lot more exposure there. It sucks for me because I was looking forward to going to Tulsa and Dallas to see him play

So pretty much half of Rice's team transferred? How? What happened?

And Kazemi was a sports management major...they dont have that at UCLA? He couldnt get into that field with any management major? Its not like its petroleum engineering...

Oregon is great because he can shine with a team that hasnt had major success (but has potential) in a major conference. I wish he would have gone to UNLV but he may have been distracted with the crazy iroonis over here lol

Ive been to Eugene while driving back from Portland once. VERY nice college town, I think he will love it. The creator of Nike attended school there and I believe Stanford so hopefully Iran can get a sponsorship somehow

Akheysh!!! Rahat shodam! Now I can talk.

Eki, the number of times I almost msged you to let you know keep Thursday the 17th of January and 19th open on your calendar! We're going!

Nypimp, Arsalan said that if there was any major that ucla had which Arsalan had completed 80% of, then he could have finished it in one year but there was no major that Arsalan had 80% of so he had to stay for two years. Howland wanted him bad.

Now the coolest part, which is why Arsalan was sold on Oregon and Was very excitedvabout last week during dinner: Phil Knight had asked Arsalan to join the ducks!!!! How cool is that? Of course, they didn't talk directly per NCAA rules. they were going to send him a personal jet. I haven't talked to him since since my new iPhone 5 doesn't have my contact numbers yet to see if he took that jet.

Last but not least, calipari had promised him 20-25 minutes per game. But a chance to shine in a strong PAC 12 was more enticing and oregon's training facilities are state of the art thanks to Phil knight. Ak was saying that they have a kitchen that cooks the athletes whatever they like !!

After reading many different sources, it does look like that Kazemi has chose UO. But there is no indication if he can get a waiver and play right away rather than sit out a year for players in similar situations.

that would have been funny if he went to kentucky, my friend from high school (and by friend i mean guy i talked to 3 times but will tell everyone we were friends because hes probably making the NBA) Ryan Harrow transferred there and will play this year, he changed high schools from North Carolina and I actually asked if he knew Arsalan from AAU or something (he didnt). Its pretty hilarious looking back because I was talking about him kinda boastfully with my chest out like "yeah, hes persian and hes gonna be playing for Rice this year, no big deal " Now this guy is the starting PG for KU and is a projected lottery pick. Nicest guy ever though. Unlike my other classmate Glen rice jr who was a total prick

oh and persianbruin your iphone 5 doesnt have your contacts yet?? Im sooooo sorry

Shyyt man, I got the phone in the mail on Friday night after getting hom from Cali. Went to the AT&T store yesterday they said they can't transfer my data and contacts till Monday! Shoulda switched to Verizon. a-holes!

Anyways, calipari was really high on ak. Wanted him to come in do the scrappy stuff rebound and be the senior leader that we all know he is. He tried hard but couldnt get ak cleared since at uk school had started. Who knows maybe ak woulda changed his mind if he had. But I am glad he is a duck playing in the pac12 conference of champions! But I still can't believe when cball starts, I won't be able to see him here in town. But I am happy for him. Hopefully this move will be stepping stone to the NBA.
