Ironic since Speights is putting up amazing numbers off the bench, dude was good whenever he played on MEM but never got rewarded for his production with minutes. I'm sure that's gonna be the same case with Hamed once he goes to a team where they appreciate their bigs.

Toronto has finally given HH a Jersey number, this Jersey number is 51 as you may remember his Memphis number was 15!!! so it looks like Toronto is working on bringing HH to the team otherwise why would they give him a jersey number and keep him on the roster if they were gonna waive him off!!

good news, i guess once all the paper work is straight we should see him on the bench soon.

They might give him a work permit since now he is a legitimate laborer employed in a respectable(well officially) franchise as opposed to past when he just needed a visa on the fly.

I wish hamed or the team made some kind of announcement. I guess all these days that we havent heard anything its not so much of a bad news. Either they are trying to work him into the team or find a way to trade him. If they were going to waive him, they would've done it by now.

Never understood why would they want to waive him, apart from the visa problem, people say Hamed was just a throw in but come on now since when a legit 7+ footer with Olympics experience and 5 years of NBA on his resume is a throw in? In a league where Kwame Brown gets paid 7mill a year for being big, no franchise is gonna just waive a serviceable big man earning 1.3 mill.

because most analysts are stupid and love to relate things and use common phrases that people are used to. Hamed has the look of a big softie...like goerge muresan or sean bradley...but he's far from that. and with hollins treating him the way he has and how they've viewed him in that little time...they think he's just some slow big guy. Thats why when he does those nice plays or takes a nice jump shot, they get surprised like they didnt know about him. If they do some research, they would see his capabilities.

These are things that his AGENT and himself need to put together as part of his resume and present it to teams. Soemone on this site went even further to create a nice highlight video. And they need to mention how he was the back up to NBA's best big team behind gasol and randolph. Like you said how can that not be attractive to some team somewhere? He even has some playoff experience. He has had some great games against Nuggets, lakers and clippers...i mean so many reasons. I feel like we need to put all this together and spoon feed it to his agent.
