I see what this guy is trying to do (I want to see HH play as well and think he fully deserves to play more than he does), but it doesn't help HH's image at all when he brings up lame arguments.

    Well, at least the fans in the Fedex Forum still cheer for him whenever he plays.

    yea ive seen that guy and he's sooooo annoying i wish he would shut the fukk up!
    his comparisons are so crazy u dont even know what to say. I can understand backing up hamed but his reasonings are so stupid and clearly he's not as good as marc gasol to even compare. The sample size is not even up to par to compare them. He has good points in many occassions but most his reasnonings are stupid.

    anyway, people in memphis like him and so do his team mates

          jerome jordan played for the knicks last year hes not a rookie

          no way in hell is he better than hamed, he suffers from the same issues that hamed does. he gets a lot of turovers and is pretty weak. also he has almost no experience, he had a couple of decent games coming off the bench but not more than haddadi who had about 5 or 6 good games in the short amount of minuets he had off the bench last year.

            good game today by HH: 11 min, 7 reb, 1 ast, 1 blk, 2 pts. memphis wins 110 to 102 against atlanta, today. these is the type of game HH needs to bring every night

              i think its the first year he actually made it to preseason and training camp in time. Its good to see him get the playing time he deserves which is at least 10-15 min/game. hopefully its not just preseason and it continues when regular season starts too

                I only saw parts of the 4th quarter (in which HH played most of his minutes), but I missed his only points of the night (apparently he hustled for a rebound and made a lay-up). The stream I was watching it from was very poor, it had a pretty bad video feed and the audio was put from a radio broadcast. Also they kept showing replays of recent plays, when the game itself was in play. So it's possible I didn't get 100% access to everything that happened on the floor.

                I thought Haddadi looked decent overall; he started pretty good but he had some goofy moves before he was subbed out in the middle of the 4th. There were some scenes in particular that didn't make him look very good;
                • One was a very weak attempt of trying to lay up a basket. I don't think the ball even got over the ring; it looked like he just tossed up the ball in the air, an underarm release.
                • Another play was one of the guards easily rounded him and put up an easy basket, clearly exposing HH slowness in pick'n'rolls. It was just after another pick and roll play in which HH was partly to be blamed for, but more players were responsible in that move.
                • In one of the offensive plays, although it was more of Randolph's fault for making a difficult pass, HH stood out with his arms without putting his body in a position to protect the ball from being stolen (which eventually did happen).
                • Also, he got a technical foul for pushing Ivan Johnson in a Grizzlies fast break move. Johnson was caught with the personal foul as he was holding Hamed, which led to HH shoving him and thus being handed a technical (game was stopped and Hawks was given a technical free throw). It's arguable whether or not he deserved the technical, the camera never managed to catch the scene (so I couldn't see it), but the Grizzlies bench looked a little bit upset like if the penalty given to Hamed was too harsh.

                He was replaced by Jerome Jordan (who ain't a rookie as I mentioned in an earlier post, thanks to ghermez agha for pointing that out ), but Jordan didn't impress like last time. At the end with 16 seconds remaining, HH was subbed in again (for Randolph) to protect the 8-point lead. But it wasn't like it was a formation that will be on the floor once there is something on stake (in other words, all players on field where bench players).

                All in all, (of what I saw) HH didn't impress (despite his stats) but neither did his main rival. However, as soon as D.Arthur will come back from his injury, HH will probably be moved out of rotation, unless Hollins wants to play big in specific games.

                He did have an assist (from the 2nd Quarter) that made the highlights video though;

                      the grizzles still have 18 people on their roster, it would be interesting to see who will make the final 12 player roster by the beginning of the season.

                          HH: 17 min, 7 reb, 1 bs, 1 to, 1 ba, 2 pts. the good is that he took care of the ball and only had 1 turnover.

                            this is the first time in 4 years that he has played like 4-5 games in a row...hopefully hollins realizes how he can utilize him the best and give marc some needed rest instead of playing him 40 min/game

                            but whos this jerome jordan center ?? seems like he has more of hollins' faith cuz he started the game..although his stats werent better than hameds

                              I saw the game against the Rockets and I thought Hamed did really well. His only basket was nice; it was kind of similar to the Hakeem move he pulled last season against the Clippers. Also he didn't commit any mistakes and he played solid defense without flapping with his arms to much (although one of his foul resulted in a basket and 1 for Asik). The foul problem was Hamed’s biggest issue last year (and for that reason Hollins pulled him out of the games), but it seems like he is playing a little bit more cautious (like Gasol does) and is avoiding those unnecessary fouls.

                              PS. For some reason NBA has set Hamed’s playing minutes as 09.58 in this game, while it actually should be 08.07. According to them he started the fourth quarter and played two more minutes, but I'm 100% sure he didn't play at all in the 4th Q. Not that it really matters, but in this span of time his +/- went down from -4 to -5 even though he never was on the field.

                              I didn't see the game against the Bucks so I can't really give any comments about that game.
