Grizzlies ahead 24-23 after first quarter.

Haddadi had a poor start with 2 fouls and a bad shot. However he got better as it went on and at the end of the quarter he had a huge block on Earl Clark (might be picked as the NBA block of the day). He is playing great on defense.

hamed got 15 minutes and was 0-1 from the field....4 fouls though. typical hamed, always messing up when it comes to fouls or turnovers he can never have a clean game! good that he only had 1 turn over though.

He did good i thought. Dont look at stats too much. One of his fouls was complete bs he had a clean block on Kobe
Hes also faster with more stamina sets better plays and understands the game more.
But he always has his occasional screw ups that makes his coach not trust him.

damn, i thought with speights being sent over to cleavland they'd give hamed more playing time.

that isn't the case at all though as hollins has showed so far that he wants a 3 man rotation between gasol, arthur, and randolph...im really wondering why they are keeping him. i mean even as far as business goes, they pay him a mil a year....why not just give some joe a league minimum and have them ride ur bench? clearly hamed's future here is done.

another thing i didn't get is that the other night against brooklyn they were up by 20 both teams pulledd their starters for the last 6-7 minutes of the game....and yet hamed only got in for the last minute. i feel like that was kind of a smack in the face to him as well.

i give him a lot of the blame dont get me wrong, but we have to be real and see that if he's not going to be given a chance in this situation where they only have two big men coming off their bench (hamed being one of them) and they're not going to give him a chance...then why not try to go somewhere that'll work with him more?

Why are you guys still wasting your time with Haddadi after all these years? It's clear he isn't going to go anywhere in the NBA. At best, we see him dunk or block a shot once every ten games and then go on to make a youtube video of it. LOL

Just focus on Kazemi; he's the one that actually has a chance of making it in the NBA.

As much as we all love Kazemi, but it will take him at least 2 years until he can get anywhere near where Haddadi is right now. He has to focus on being drafted first, then he can start improving in the league.
Also Hamed is the first Iranian ever to make it to the NBA, that's what makes him a special case(also with that potential we get pissed off that he is not working his ass off to be in the rotation at some damn team).

i dont think anyone is focused on him like u think. we follow nba so its not hard to follow hamed's progress. and like behzad said whatever he is, he is the first iranian so ill always be interested in seeing him. Kazemi will make NBA too and i have more hopes for him but at the same time he is lacking some offense in his game too which could be a problem if he wants to be good in the NBA. He doesnt really take shots, all his baskets are driving in, dunks, lay ups and free throws.

i get what youre saying, but like ekbatan said its not hard to follow him especially if youre a big fan of an NBA team, and im always going to want to follow any iranian basketball player regardless of how good or bad he is...its just for the support really.

also its kind of annoying because hamed has some potential to be a solid back up, he just hasn't really been getting that chance very much. like i said in my post before, i know some of or even most of the blame is on him but there are certain situations so far that just get under my skin such as the one he is in right now...its just not fair....
