Silvio Berlusconi is ready to sell AC Milan to Qatar

    Qatar primed to buy Milan

    30 October 2012

AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi is ready to sell the Serie A powerhouse to Qatar.
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the ruling Emir of the State of Qatar, is in line to buy Milan as Belusconi feels it is time to say farewell to his beloved club, Goal.com understands.

The Rossoneri are being plagued by financial problems and were forced to cash in on star players Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva in the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, experienced servants such as Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso and Clarence Seedorf also left in an attempt to lower wage costs.

Milan continue to struggle, though, and Berlusconi is unsure if he is the right man to help the San Siro side back on track, as his priorities lie elsewhere.

The former Italian Prime Minister was recently sentenced to 12 months in prison for his part in a tax fraud scandal, and his attempts to have the ruling overturned on appeal will take most of his time.

Therefore, he is ready to sell the club if a good offer comes in, and Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani is sitting in pole position to buy the Italian giants.

Berlusconi could be tempted to sell Milan for a fee in the region of 500 million euros.

Companies such as Gazprom and Ferrero have also been linked with Milan, but the Emir of Qatar seems to have the edge.

        YUP i expected that

milan has been doing so bad and there were rumors from 2 years ago about some A-rab buying it........first purchase i guarantee u will be 150 Mil. bid on C. Ronaldo

sad part for these owners is they cant do what they do in england and spain....make a team full of super stars and dominate the league....thats not how italy works and they will do slightly better but they wont walk all over the league like barca and real do in spain

I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.
