Oscar De La Hoya, he was 37 when they fought and at the end of his professional career. It was just a fight to earn some cash before he retired.
Shane Mosley, he was 40 when they fought in 2011 and also at the end of his professional career. His last win before that was in 2009.
I am not saying he is not good, ofcourse he is a very accomplished boxer. But he always chose his fights carefully to a level he knew he could handle and that in my book is a big minus. It is like in football we play against the retired team of Brazil and beating them and bragging about it, or choosing to play a famous team that is out of form.
Yes, he does have a very fancy looking record in the first glance, but a closer look at his fight choices can tell you otherwise.
Even against Marquez he chose a safe fight, going against an almost 40yrs old guy, thinking he had the fight but he still lost. I mean look at the way he got knocked out, the way he went for the attack and got KO punch was very amature IMO and I don't even know much about boxing.
Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice

Freddie Roach's guys have lost their last 4 fights I think it is. Not good, and Amir Khan fights this Saturday as well. Pac did what I've never liked about him, just bursts forward with all offense on his mind, no defense. Marquez said he's seen him do that on film and was waiting for that opportunity and he got it.
Pac looked like he got shot by a sniper and dropped!lol
And now, Mayweather pacquiao means nothing. Pac has lost 2 straight and that fight is nearly irrelevant. They should've done it while they could've...
