this is like THE most important game in Iran's basketball history perhaps...

sure we've had asian championships, world cup, etc....and haddadi has played in playoffs but hamed was never a starter or regular...the other championships arent really that big of a stage, not many know about them.....but this sweet 16 is history....first iranian agaisnt a top team and he's a flashy type

few years ago i would not give rats a$$ about march madness as long as i got the correct picks, but to actually follow a team thru is exciting, i can't wait either, i hope they pull off an upset today.

by the way some HUGE upsets so far.....some of the BEST teams have been eliminated; gonzaga, indiana, miami

that wichita state teams looks good! they have big players that look like NBA players...at first i thought if oregon gets thru this round it would be good if they get them but no that team seems pretty good. I really hope for sake of Kazemi's chances they beat louisevillle....they really need all the main players to play game of their life

i hope for once we can succeed in some sport other than the traditional wrestling stuff....in basketball, soccer, everything else we're always a step behind greatness. Like we have players that get close but just not there....Arsalan is the closest...if he passes this stage he will truly be special...if not he'll still be good but we'll still be searching for that great ness.....that ONE player that took the world by storm, etc...

IF those teams win so far some big teams have been knocked off

i really believe in Oregon IF they play their good game...but they are inconsistent....i'd be happy if they get to elite 8 they have really surpassed expectations so far
