There have been talks that NBA scouts are looking at him. We should all be proud of him! Just imagine once he tones his skills and increases his speed. His potential is limitless!

some lebanese guy named Omar something....he used to play with Arsalan at Rice and he transferred to USC when arsalan went to Oregon. I believe the same scout that brought arsalan to Rice brought Omar from Lebanon

he's tall and all but he wont make NBA he's not good enough, In my opinion when i saw him at the USC game

His name is Omar Oraby, a 7'2 Egyptian that played in Rice with AK for 2 years. He has potential but he doesn't seem to be a hard worker. I haven't seen any sign of improvement in this 1-2 years from him, so yeah he probably won't make it

^ Their starting PG Dominic Artis is out indefinitely with a foot injury. He's gonna miss tonight's game. Big blow for Oregon, he is huge for them.

Oregon pulled through and won! 81-76 FT

Kazemi another double double....11 pts, 11 rebs with a steal and assist

They are now 18-2 overall...7-0 in conference and ranked 16th overall ahead of teams like kentucky!

They can def. make the NCAA tournament if they keep this up

Good win for Oregon and the score doesn't indicate the difference between these 2 teams. This game should have easily been a blow out. Ducks were leading 70-56 with with 3:20 remaining but gave up some really easy baskets(and 3 wide open 3's) since they became lazy on defense.
Arsalan was great in this game as his 2 3 point plays roared up the crowd and gave UO the safety margin. 11 boards was once again showing how he beasts on the glass, more importantly keeping Washington and one of the leagues best rebounders, in Aziz N'diaye to just 3 rebounds.
They were really missing their starting PG and that will cost them a few games i guess. Plus they go on the road to the bay area against California and Stanford, Oregon hasn't swept them on the road for 37 years!!

since we don't have an official college basketball thread, i'll say it here... how about them MICHIGAN wolverines??

for the past 10 years, I don't remember a michigan basketball team that was this dominant

                              --------

^ Michigan is legit. They have a great chance to win the National Championship if they can avoid injuries. Tough team with all components needed to win the crown. They will probably be #1 today.(They deserve it more than Kansas)
