Official Arsalan Kazemi Rips Pac-12 a New One Thread
^ I was wondering yesterday when I was watching the game, does it cost a lot to go to these college basketball games ? like it shouldn't be that much to see court side right ?
i thought so too but the oregon games we went to here in la with usc and ucla were pretty on the high side...well not so much for usc i guess but this is la...shits more expensive than anywhere else
^^since 2008, he played 1 year of high school basketball, 3 years at RICE U. and now at Oregon.
i think HH does not really care about language or basketball, he is just happy to have got this far!
yeah the high school year was always a mystery, he went to HS in north carolina somewhere, its kinda sketchy how he ended up there straight from isfahan

apparently the story goes as this, there was a basketball agent from Egypt who specialized in transferring basketball players from Middle East, sometime after iran wins the asia basketball championship arsalan gets in touch with this guy who tells him that in order to play in US he needs to atleast play 1 season in High school for scouts to have a chance to see him, so searching throu high schools one particular high school was found in NC and he goes there, he had a out standing season and some schools come knocking on the door, and he decides to take Rice as it is a good school. He has always said that school comes first then basketball.
other than Arsalan there were couple of Arab basketball players that ended up in Rice as well! it seemed to me that this "agent" guy had some connections in Rice basketball program, cause as soon as he was fired all the players including araslan all the sudden decide to transferee out including the Arab players!! i think one of them ended up in USC!!
this was from an article that was published back in 2009.
he was a former college player and tries to be the agent type and has some connections. Not sure how good he is though but seems like a good businessman
Sweet 16 game on Friday at 4:15 pm West coast time on CBS
bring on Louiseville! i think if they play their tight defense and focus they can win this...their defense is excellent when they're focuse and lots of guys have good hands to steal the ball; kazemi, singler, artis, loyd, emory....they can all strip the ball from their opponents
after 2 rounds of play AK is top of rebounding leaders with 16.5 rebounds!!!
most of his other competitors are out so they will not be in sweet 16, if he has a good game on friday he will probably be in the top 3 by the time ncaa is finished as there are not that many players who rebound as much as he does!!
^ If he thought it would distract him from doing what he is doing he wouldn't be on it. Plus I realized he immediately tweeted right after they won the game against Saint Louis !
