I was in Vegas during their game with Louisville and made some $$$ by taking Oregon. The line was 10 by the way.

UL jaan chakerim, I have been very busy since I moved to Texas. I am only here for the bball threads when necessary or when I have time
Radin jaan,
It was a chain of events all thanks to PFDC 3 years ago I took a trip to Houston and Keyan was one of those PFDC members that I was close to and admired very much so I contacted him to let him know I was in town. The great guy that he is, he drove 45 minutes to pick me up from my hotel and we became friends. a few months later I moved to Houston and Keyan who is like a brother to Arsalan, took me to a few games and I got to know Arsalan. The first time I saw him, he was just like a celeb to me like if a perspolisi fan sees Karimi! But then we started going to dinners after each saturday night game and we became close friends and not because of his bball situation. He is a really great guy and very very loyal friend. When he wants to be he is pretty funny guy! His text msgs crack me up!
When his situation got complicated, it got to a point that I didn't know what I could say and what I couldn't to other people. I didn't know what was confidential and what was a matter of public knowledge so I decided staying away from his threads was just the right thing to do I basically decided to just shut up! I didn't even tell my cousins and family members who wanted to know what was going on a thing. wanted to make sure I didn't abuse his trust in our friendship. I kept following this thread though without saying anything so when a couple of days ago I saw you saying you didnt believe the stuff in the article I decided it was time for me to say something because I felt like arsalan's character was under question.
By the way, I didn't follow him to any of those games. I saw Pat Riley in the stands on TV! The only time I traveled to watch his games, was back in January to catch the UCLA and USC games. I travel for work 140,000 miles a year so I don't have time for that!
Again he is a great guy and a very loyal friend. My son calls him "daddy's tall friend" lol and he is like daddy your tall friend is on TV!
As Iranian we should seriously be proud. When he goes to the league and he represents us. It will be nothing but just positive stuff and I think we all need that these days. Hope this answered your question!----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts

he is entering and has received lots of attention, so the likelikhood is high...however he is a unique type of player so his game works with certain coaches that want that kind of player. Unfortunately offensively he doesnt shoot, but he's good at scoring inside the paint and dunks....he averages a double double which is great, he rebounds and is great in steals...and he can dribble decent too...so i'm optimistic he will get picked either at the least 2nd round.......if not that, he can join summer camps of teams and hope to impress there to get picked.

If you are asking my personal opinion, I have great faith in him and believe he is a generally solid player. If he's lucky he'll get drafted in the 2nd round (which has no guarantee of a contract). Otherwise he can have a great career in Europe or China, I think his talent will be wasted in Iran. One factor I would account for is there is a media hype surrounding him which may play to his benefit over similar draftees. Please join and support Iran Rugby on Facebook.

Oregon won Pac-12 championship and reached sweet 16
They lost to Louiseville which is THE best team and they beat the hell out of Duke in Elite 8 so they'll prob win it all. Which works great for Arsalan cuz its not so bad when you lose to the champions.
In those 3 games in the tournament, he got 45 rebs which is the most and beat Tim Duncan's record. These are all things that raised his draft stock and got him attention.

the only thing that makes me scared that he wont be drafted, which some of u may actually get a good laugh at, is the fact that i have yet to see him in a mock draft.
yeah i know, mock drafts arent anything official or not supposed to mean much, but they're usually on point about who will be in the mix, and the fact that i haven't seen him in any concerns me. had he been in a few obviously i wouldnt have cared, but i am yet to see him in one.
anybody find any with him? i've seen 8-9 and no sign or arsalan in them.Team Meli Iran
