I actually had a chance to meet him while he was here right before he was leaving!
SUCH a nice guy! So down to earth and humble.
Poor guy seemed so tired after all these workouts and traveling.
He was in Memphis yesterday and he left at 11am and poor guy didn't get to Detroit till 8pm! Bastards couldn't even give him a direct flight! He had to stop at Charlotte first before coming to Detroit. His workout was at 8am this morning and he had to wake up at 7am.
Overall, he wasn't very impressed with Detroit. They were very 'cold' with everyone or as he put it, not as 'garm' as some other teams. He also had a minor strain in his quads/hams (not sure exactly) he suffered in one of his workouts and couldn't play much. He said he mostly just shot.
We spoke for a while about all sorts of stuff for a good 10-15 min ranging from Haddadi to Iran basketball to his workouts. What a great guy really. I can't praise him enough.
Anyways, let's just say I have a gut feeling San Antonio Spurs will draft him (if it falls to them)
Keep your fingers crossed fellas! He seemed very hopeful! Tomorrow will be a BIG day!

p.s. pb, good to see you here! it's been a while agha! hope you're doing well. i was actually going to pm yesterday asking about arsalan, but i checked and saw that you haven't been online since the 23rd so I didn't think you would get the message in time.

Mo you should have told him shahryar sent you there freak him out a little! Lol. Yeah when I talked to him last night I said who wants to live in that dump! He said they have placed him in a very good neighborhood and I was like so by good neighborhood you mean they have 2 Denny's instead of one?! Lol. I cut the conv short cuz I knew he was do tired after all these workouts over the last few weeks. I thought it would not be appropriate to call him today for the same reason so thanks for the update.
As for the personality, I have always been saying it and I am glad you saw it for yourself. Very standup guy and even a better friend. Tell you this, the last two years both for eid and Father's Day all four times he had been the first person amongst my friends and family to call me to say eiydet mobarak and roozeh pedar mobarak. He has such an amazing character and manners. I am glad you got to see it for yourself!----1990 TM, You will always have a special place in our hearts
