And to think that Arsenal has the highest paying tickets in all around Europe amazes me. Your team is crap, you play like crap, you don't win crap and you still charge double the price.
what is meant by earnings? is it profits or revenues?
I think it's the total cash flow in the calendar year. Does not mean much since a club like Real pays shitload of salary and transfer fees every year. The real indicator is net profit reported nothing else.
^ exactly... barcelona and real madrid are in huge amounts of debt... I think the only large teams without financial issues are Bayern, Manchester UTD, arsenal, and possibly juventus
keep in mind alot of these figures are due to tv money....which barca and real gobble up half or more of all of spain's total tv money lol so compared to the other leagues where its spread between 5-6 top teams, in spain its really spread between 2 teams
AND size of the stadiums have an affect too. Some teams have 80K stadiums and other teams from smaller towns like juventus have 40K stadium. and also whether u go far in other competitions like CL and domestic cups. Like man U and man city last year coulda earned more if they went far in CL but they were knocked out in group stages and Juventus didnt have any CL money it was all domestic league.
real and barcas money all comes from tv rights because in la liga you can buy rights for individual team not the whole league like the premier league
so everyone just pays for those twos games and they get all the money unlike the premier league where its distributed
