I think the title is not so important for Nigeria!
This is more important... (I just say have fun )
Nigerian prostitutes promise “week of free sex” if they win Africa Cup of Nations
Nigeria overcame Africa Cup of Nations favourites Ivory Coast on Sunday, putting the Super Eagles in the final four of the competition. Stephen Keshi's side now face dark horse Mali in the semi-finals on Wednesday, after which the winner may face current favourites Ghana in the final on Sunday.
Defeating Mali and the Black Stars will be no easy feat, but to encourage the West African nation to bring home their third Africa Cup of Nations trophy, the Association of Nigerian Prostitutes — yes, there is an official Association of Nigerian Prostitutes — have promised seven days of free sex if they win.
A statement from ANP secretary Jessica Elvis reads (via ynaija.com):

It's not clear who would be entitled to the free sex (just the players? anybody in Nigeria with ten minutes to spare?) or if there are any restrictions (one free lovemaking session per customer per day? Offer only valid with orders over $50?), but don't be surprised if Cristiano Ronaldo announces a seven-day African sabbatical on Sunday.
african teams are really strong, but their confederation takes away the value of the prize by having one of these tournament almost every other year.
some teams don't even come with their full squads (such as ghana and even nigeria had a couple of key players missing) which is another down part about the tournament.

Yep since it is every two years the quality and the exitiment is not there, but still congrats to Nigeria for winning their 3rd African Cup..
it was the most boring of the African Cup I've watched during at least the last ten years. As many said, African playing in Europe cannot lose much of their time with this tournament. Some players were happy after the elimination of their teams at the first step. Ghanaian playing for OM didn't even come to play for their national team. Only small teams were happy bc their players perform in Africa and need to get out of the continent.
In addition, when the tournament is organized by other than Arab countries, most times, stadiums are empty bc Africans are extremely poor and cannot pay the ticket.
