Well I fought we would put up a better fight with an almost packed stadium but this result wasn't surprising with the team we had. I was really surprised we even beat Turkey with this team but Russians are a different species when it comes to wrestling.

Our team was a mess before this competition, Bana resigned because of problems with Khatib (president of the federation), Kheirabadi and Nourbakhsh (Bana's assistants) are now coaching Azerbaijan, Sourian I think wants to retire, Noroozi has quit the team because he's angry with the federation about how he's been payed after the olympics and Rezaei wanted to compete but apparently he was in bad shape.

we have to admire Russians. They come and defeat us in our own home and with that margin. we always work hard, but not hard enough. congrats to Russians who won this after 3 times Iran won it in a row. It means they worked hard to defeat us and we really dont know how to appreciate our coaches. A person like bana will not repeat in another 100 years.

We lost the best coach for our beach soccer team - Marco Octavio (fortunately he is back and we won the AC)
and then we lost Mohammad Bana.
I guess next one is Velasco (Volleyball coach).

I am afraid that now even our wrestling is declining. Although it's way too early to say this, but since every sport that grows, improves and gets too much attention in Iran one day will be destroyed in a way and it takes years to recover, I am starting to worry. Seems like many of them have a problems with the federation which is no surprise, but normal. Hope that I am exaggerating regarding our wrestling situiation, time will tell I guess.

I wouldn't say stupid in this case Ekbatan jaan; it’s more like these pussies are afraid. The unity and emotions sport can trigger is something they will never be able to control and that is a serious threat for them. Hence they put their dirty hands on the most popular things that could gain too much power to avoid losing control. And we on the other side are only blaming the athletes/coaches, instead of attacking the real and main people responsible for our ****ed up situation.
