It was a complete destruction.. If only Yazdani was healthy to wrestled Varner and destroyed him again it would've made this victory 10x sweeter for me.

Goudarzi wasn't in good shape, he didn't impress me earlier and it was probably the right thing for him not to wrestle.

damn i hate that burroughs guy....why cant we have a wrestler that can beat him? lol i think this generation we dont have anyone that good in that weight class, but in the past we've had some greats. i wasnt impressed with goudarzi

As a long-time amateur wrestler, I have to give credit where credit is due. Instead of criticizing our athletes for their performance in the finals, we must not overlook that Russia determination to win. Congrats to them as they deserved it by beating our athletes. But silver amongst the world's best in GR is something we can all be proud of and use as motivation to achieve gold in the future.

I'm looking forward to the rematch between the two teams in freestyle. It should be an epic match!

yea its kinda true, correct me if im wrong but we were never really good at greco roman til recently? we were always winning in freestyle but in the last decade we've been winning greco roman too

He had torn his cruciate ligament during the Olympic I think, correct me if I am wrong. Do you know when he will be match fit?

I watched an interview of his after the olympics and he said hopefully if everything goes well he will be back for 2013 World Championships in September but I saw recent pics of the him training with the team for the world cup although he was training seperately from the team and doing only light exercises. I'm guessing he will be back in a few months.
