US had a very inexperinced young team, Iran used all its weapons had to win by this score well done!

Anyone else that thinks this whole scenario of wrestling (one of the worlds most ancient olympic sports) being dropped, and US-Iran alliance in "saving" the sport is a koreographed event?
Maybe this is some kind of setup and analogous to the ping pong diplomacy, when Nixon normalized ties with China?
Could US and Iran be moving towards rapprochement?

          Just a crazy thought.

Anyway, the boys did an awesome job again, showing who is boss!

He will wrestle in LA. this is the list of LA matchups

            Hassan Rahimi vs Sam Hazewinkel
            Masoud Esmaeilpour vs Coleman Scott
            Mehdi Taghavi vs Jordan Oliver
            Hassan Tahmasebi vs Jordan Burroughs
            Ehsan Lashgari vs Clayton Foster
            Hamed Tatari vs Chris Pendleton
            Komeil Ghasemi vs Tervel Dlagnev

This US team is a little better, but I think they still will lose 6-1.

^I watched it live on youtube, 95% of the viewers were Iranian, and comment box had a fun atmosphere but the coverage was abysmal. They kept cutting the sound off and switching back to the street view and only showed the replays of their 1 win. Looked really pathetic, half way in the fight when they're down 3-0, they brought someone in the middle of the mat to motivate their wrestlers and the crowd to cheer for the US team, when the majority of the crowd was Iranian. As far as the actual wrestling goes Taghavi was beasting, Lashgari was also very solid. The rest of them weren't as impressive as their last showing in the WC.
