so the lakers will be in the playoffs afterall, it wont matter much in the end they still are going to go down as a huge disappointment....everyone was writing championship all over that team all summer and they amounted to nothing legitimate at all. i predict a 4 game sweep from OKC, maybe LA will be able to win one game at home.

EDIT: never mind, looks like the lakers will finish 7th and play the spurs. Definitely going to be a closer series than playing OKC, still San Antonio will win though.

Lakers are gonna get RAPED in the playoffs. I predict a sweep or 4-1 loss first round exit.

I'm also in for a Miami-OKC final rematch. They both deserve it the most. I can't see OKC losing to anyone in the west for 4 times in a series. And i won't be surprised that much if the Heat sweep their way into the finals!

Knicks, nuggets, nets, and clips all winners in the first day....great offensive performance from the nets they're really a good team when D-Will plays to his potential, the second round in the east could be very interesting. Felt kinda bad for golden state, they played well and almost pulled off an upset. That could be an interesting series as well.

Knicks and Spurs can go on and end it in 5. Atlanta looked awful, and they might be out in 6.

Somehow I missed your prediction on the Atlanta-Indiana series. Don't think it'll go past 5 games, not a fan of this Atlanta team at all.

Ghermez agha jan, how'd the Celtics-Knicks first game go?
I couldn't watch it, but I followed the score throughout the match and it seemed to be very close until the end. How did both teams look?

Seems Jeff Green was going off, he's by far out best player now - Pierce and Garnett are way past it. We simply don't stand a chance vs NYK, we honestly just are not that good anymore.

the game was overall a pretty sloppy/streaky game for both teams. especially the celtics who by the end of the 3rd quarter only had 4 points from their bench and as a team only scored 25 points in the second half. pierce sucked and couldnt hit a shot to save his life and KG was invisible. J kidd IMO was the difference maker in the game, its unbelievable how efficient this guy is at his age...he came up with some big shots, rebounds, steals, and assits in the second half. to sum things up, either team could have came out as the winner, the knicks just started and ended the game much better and that was the difference, melo started and ended very well, struggles in the second and third quarter though.

totally agree on green, im a big fan of him and have been since he was in college, hes such an athletic player and has so much potential. ig the poor guy didn't have such severe injuries and heart issues he'd probably be an all star by now. the team needs to build around him and rondo.....getting rid of KG/pierce while they still have some value to young teams like houston for example could be a great place for boston to make a deal with so they can get some young pieces to build around rondo and green.

Boston are really missing Rondo. I don't think they would have been this poor in the first game if he was in the mixture. The are literally playing with no point guard.

JR smith just won 6th man of the year, very well deserved!

It was a close race between him and Crawford, couldn't go wrong with either choice, statistically JR was a bit ahead of him in points and a few other areas so I guess that's what gave him the edge. He has transformed into a totally different player this year, he grew a lot as a player and played consistent good basketball throughout the entire season.

Masoud isn't gonna be too happy about this I'm assuming
