Btw, I love this tournament. There are no other good sports on in the U.S. currently, so this is some great entertainment. Nice prelude to the World Cup next summer. Good teams, great matches, good competition. Why not?

Did you guys know that Saudi Arabia created the Confederations Cup in 1992, and hosted its first three editions between 1993 and 1997? I did not know that! Also Germany was invited/qualified for 1997 and 2003 but for some reason both times turned down the offer to participate.

i like this tournament, minus the 2-3 weak teams it usually has. its a preview of world cup and good to see some of the match ups. group A is pretty much all amazing games
