Too good for Asia, with a year of NBA under Arsalan's belt we can really look forward to advancing into the 2nd round...
HH completely kicked ass in the championship game,29 & 16 with some intimidating defense in the paint. Hope winning the MVP will be a good motivation to get better and ready for this years NBA.
All star team:
PG - Jayson Castro (Philippines)
SG - Kim Min-Goo (South Korea)
SF - Lin Chih-chieh (Chinese Taipei)
PF - Oshin Sahakian (Iran)
C - Hamed Haddadi (Iran)
Two Iranians, but quite surprising to not see Kamrani being one of them. I think he definitely deserved it, but I guess they had to please the home nation as well somehow.
Congrats Iran! Looking forward to the WC2014 in Spain and hopefully we will win the AC in 2015 as well and thus qualify for the Olympics.
hey guys wheres japan in all this? do they suck at basketball?
so happy to see us win it all again and AGAIN in the final against the host country...last time was beating china in china
i really hope we get US again in group stages i know its the toughest but its good for our TM experience and hopefully both arsalan and hamed are in NBA next year
^^ both Japan and Korea where good teams back in the 60's and 70's. actually Korea has won more metals in basketball than any other country, they keep finishing 2nd or 3rd tho LOOOL they have been Jinxed and can't win a GOLD for LONG LONG TIME. just like football!!
just glad we won this thing...its amazing how much confidence haddadi has in these games vs. the nba games
mostly due to hollins messing with him all those years...he did look like he was getting better with the suns and out of nowhere they stopped showing him love too
i really hope knicks pick him up, i dont see why nba teams would pass up on such a big guy. he's cheap and can be useful at times, even if he's not a starter
^^playing against opponents that are half your size is not hard to do!! i would be confident too. HH just does not have the speed and athleticism to play in nba!! he gets into foul trouble early and often and was always the last in the transition plays to the other side of the court

its not the height or speed, its just his mentallity. He has and can keep up with nba its his inability to put in time into learning, being interested and trying. I bet u he doesnt even follow nba completely lol he just shows up to games
