Unless something very very strange happens, China will likely be the opponents in the semis.

any new players on this team that look like they can be promising ?

i like our other big guy kardoust but i wish he was more aggresive, used his body and dunked more. Only if we had the better facilities, coaches and trainers, i think our basketball can become alot better. if we could develop more players like arsalan and hamed that can be NBA players, it would be great. But im afraid the opportunities in iran are very limited.

                            Iran defeated Bahrain 75-56.

The game was a big disappointment. The reserves had an ugly performance and Bahrain outscored us with our starting five on the bench. The second quarter had Bahrain cutting the deficit from 17 points to 3 points. The starters then came back in the third and quickly added points to the lead. In total, the 2nd and the 4th quarter, when the reserves were on the floor, ended 36-19 in favour of Bahrain. Only positive among those guys was Kardoust, the rest had very poor games.

The day players like Kamrani, Bahrami and Haddadi retires it's likely our domination in Asia will come to an end.

the game was stopped for 3 minutes because of two injuries to the bahraini players who actually grassrolled on the court. But to be fair, they were serious injuries and the game was a blow out by then.
