    all I can tell you is that if the team doesn't sign or trade him by September 10th he will be a free agent. At least that is what I have been told.

      lol sam hinkie must feel good about himself to leave players full of potential out to dry all the time. idiots shouldn't have traded for him in the draft if they weren't going to be serious about his development.

        sixers are really a piece of shit organization. Arsalan isnt the only one who got screwed but so have so many others. This new bunch will be the same, all this hype about okafor and them, they're not going anywhere.

        its really best if they release him so he can find a new team....sixers arent even worth an NBA contract for arsalan honestly. They will just ruin him and he wont have any trade value.

        but also problem is unfortunately as much as i love Arsalan, he should've showed a little more during these summer league games. He also didnt develop his shooting game at all over the years to make him more attractive to other teams. Its great what he does and he can really be valuable to a winning playoff team cuz he adds that extra push and defensiveness, but come on you have to be able to score something other than fast break dunks and put backs.

          indeed Arsalan needs at least to have a good midrange jumper...Im not even talking about the outside shooting.

            the thing is he DOES have a shot, he just doesnt shoot for some reason. his first 3 yrs he was shooting, even 3 pointers, but by the time he got to Oregon he stopped shooting all together. And it wasnt his coach cuz he was encouraged to shoot but he just doesnt. Even if he developed that corner 3 ONLY, he would've been a huge asset...because thats the spot he waits at while the point guard is driving the ball, so he's there to receive it. Thats where he can either shoot a 3 or drive to the basket.

              he did not shoot 3 pointers at Rice, thats a fact.

                      ok long time ago. in the last 3-4 years, I did not see him take 1 three.

                        the point is, for some reason til further notice this guy can't shot the ball!! just grabbing rebound, hustle play and put backs will not be enough for him to be in a NBA team. maybe as a back up player, definitely not a starter in NBA.
                        IRI = FAILED

                          it is clear that he wont be a started. he is fighting to be in a team, their 10th-12th man, that would be great already. But oh well, if not, he shouldnt wait so long, he should sign somewhere else. NBA isnt everything. He should try to get to euroleague instead of just going back to China if he wants great competition

                            arsalan is a nobody in our team melli, yet you guys expect him to play in the NBA. All he can do is rebound and block a couple of shots here or there. NBA teams look for all around players except their centers.

                              i will try to ignore the fact that I got offended as an Arsalan fan. But I am not gonna ignore this as an NBA fan. You clearly don't know anything about the NBA. It is probably the only league that PRECISELY needs people with a certain role. European and Chinese leagues is all full of players who do everything sorta good. In the NBA you have a role and that's what you do.

                              I have been watching NBA religiously since 1990. That is the year Arsalan was born! So AK has nothing to do with that.
                              As one guy who was broadcasting the summer league was saying, "NBA is a superstar league, you need role players to do the dirty stuff and kazemi is one of those guys".
                              Hate Arsalan all you want but learn your NBA bro

                                bashe haji to rast migi, sit and see if he makes NBA. Arsalan is Esfahani and it would be an honour for us for him to make it. Yes role players are needed, but AK is not the type of role player they are looking for.Haddadi who was a double double machine coudn't become anything in NBA, he was lazy and smoked cigarettes. He had potential to be a good backup center but didn't get any playing time. Samad Nikkah who is our best all around player has been playing in Iran for basically his whole career. What makes you think AK will be any different? Even if he makes the 76ers roster which is packed with young talent he will be playing garbage minutes.
