any idea when he will sign the contract? I assume he wont take his sweet time
have no idea! But I am sure it will be before the end of September since preseason and training camp starts in October

its still a little too early however, its not guaranteed he'll play the full season. We will see him in preseason and i think there are probably few other players like him that will be on there as well and some will get cut before the season starts. He still has to prove himself in the preseason to get picked. If he doesnt then hopefully another team would be interested. But this is a very positive step, i like to see him be more aggressive and get involved more offensively. He needs to take at least a couple of shots each game. He doesnt have to shoot all the time but as long as they know you're not afraid and can contribute somehow, it'll help him tremendously.

You don't get cut when you have a contract. Players who get invited to preseason or during the season get 10 day contracts which this is not.

But decide to ignore the offer of contract and play for Paykan. wouldn't surprise me! (replace paykan by al-torkhm if he was footballist)

he did what most of our soccer player wouldn't do. Turned down big money to pla in the NBA. He had close to an 900k offer from china but turned it down for a chance to play in the NBA.
As for Iran, forget it! Because of his sarbazi problem he can't play in Iran which is why he is not playing for TM
