Hamed Haddadi waived by Phoenix Suns

What a bummer, hope he can crack into another NBA roster. Pretty unlikely though,as he will at least be with the NT till mid August.

      Raptors should bring him in,
If anything it would be a great business move considering the huge Iranian population in the greater Toronto area

Chicago, LA Clippers, LA Lakers, Philadelphia (imagine that), Sacramento, Utah, and Dallas seem in need of a big man.

but he played ok in the time in Phoenix so it is realistic that he gets a contract

That would be funny if he goes to 76ers

I hope this wakes up and motivates Haddadi to elevate his game. He has so much potential and can be a consistent contributor to any team of he puts in the hard work.

the team that can use him the most isn't listed: MY KNICKS!

we desperately need a good back up big man....and being that KMART isnt coming back most likely, that just makes us need him even more. ill pray it happens the same way i prayed arsalan would come but i think the chances of hamed coming are not too bad.

Things are looking pretty bad for Hamed, I really hope some team can save his ass and pick him up.

i never understood Hamed's visa problems. how is it that arsalan all these years havent had any issues? part of hamed's lack of playing time was also that he was never available for summer camp and preseason...there were always some issues. i dont get how a pro athlete cant get some kind of special green card or whatever.

Because Arsalan has been a college student and he's probably on a student visa. I'm sure by now he has his green card as well.

Ya but why cant they do that for haddadi? i know u can get a green card for jobs...my dad and many others did this...so how hard is it for NBA team to get him a permanent residency? its just weird, maybe haddadi has some other paperwork issue thats not resolved inside Iran.
