    Today's matches (8/14/13)

LOL so far Japan has lost 4-2 at home to Uruguay and South Korea has tied Peru 0-0 at home!!

Italy - Argentina playing for the Pope
should be exciting but i dont think either team is playing their main players...i may be wrong....but eitherway what sucks about August friendlies is that the players arent gonna play that good cuz they're saving themselves for the league to start

      other good match ups:

      Portugal - Holland

      Germany - Paraguay

      France - Belgium

      England - Scotland

According to Vatican sources, Pope Francis spoke to Mario Balotelli about racism and being a good role model.

The striker was the only player to receive a private audience with His Holiness during the meeting with both Italy and Argentina squads on Tuesday.

He achieved this by running after the Pope into a separate room after the ceremony had concluded.

“Thank you Pope Francis. Thank you from the heart for those five minutes,” wrote Balotelli on Twitter.

He has refused to discuss what was said in that private audience, but emerged from the room visibly moved.

According to Vatican sources in La Repubblica newspaper, they discussed racism in society and being a good role model to youth.

Pope Francis also encouraged Balotelli not to react to provocation on the field or off it.

Should've scored but too much waste in the last pass. Ended 0-0

How about the USA beating Bosnia 4-3 in Bosnia?

I think it is a remarkable win, even though it's just a friendly.

Sweden 4-2 Norway had some nice goals from Sweden only though.
Ibra hat trick. Good finish then a chip and then a sick freekick to finish it. plus another swede scored a nice long ranger.
