FIFA - Croatian champions Dinamo Zagreb have named Branko Ivankovic their new coach, the third time he has held the post, the club announced on Tuesday.
"I'm proud and happy that I have returned to Dinamo. We have good quality players and I believe that we will play good football and achieve results that will satisfy our fans," the 59-year-old Ivankovic said in a statement.
Ivankovic, a former coach of Iran's national team, coached Dinamo from 2006 to January 2008 and from May to November 2008.
His predecessor Krunoslav Jurcic was sacked last month after the club's 2-0 UEFA Champions League qualifying defeat against Austria Vienna. Dinamo Zagreb eventually did not reach the group stages despite their 3-2 win in the second leg.
Dinamo are top of the Croatian league with 20 points from their eight games.
