    Our roster:

    74kg: Hadi Alizadeh
    84kg: Taleb Nematpour
    96kg: Mahdi Aliyari
    120kg: Amir Aliakbari

In freestyle we have pretty much the same team from the Olympics, except for Sadegh Goudarzi in 74 who missed the national trials this year.

In Greco-Roman, we don't have one single wrestler from last years Olympics ! All of them didn't compete this year for different reasons but mainly because of problems with the federation and Mohammad Bana resigning.. The new coach is Abdollah Chamangoli, also interesting this year we have Amir Aliakbari in 120kg, he was the 2010 world champion in 96kg but he was suspended for 2 years in 2011 for doping and he returned this year and showed some good results, he is one of our best medal hopes in GR.

In case you didn't know about some of the rule changes:

    - Matches are now 2 periods 3 minutes each, also they are using cumulative scoring now, so you win with a final score and not by periods
    - Takedowns are now worth 2 points, unless it's a defensive takedown which is 1 point
    - Push outs are worth 1 point
    - If you perform two 3 point throws or a 5 point throw the match ends and you win, unless your opponent is still leading after the throws.
    - 7 point technical falls, meaning if you lead 7-0 or by 7 points the match ends and you win.
    - Referee's now give cautions to wrestlers who are passive and not creating action
    - (FS) The referee will warn the passive wrestler, If there is no score 2 minutes into the match, the referee decides who is the most passive wrestler and he's given 30 seconds to score, if he doesn't score, he is given a caution and a point to his opponent.
    - (GR) The referee will warn the passive wrestler, if he carries on being passive, he receives a caution and point to his opponent and his opponent gets to decide between the par-terre position or carry on standing up.
    - If a wrestler receives 3 cautions, he is Disqualified

Lashgari just beat the russian and he is now in the last 8. He gets a TOUGH TOUGH opponent in the Georgian , Dato.... Such an unfair bottom bracket. FILA needs to fix this seeding system.
