They wrestled in the world cup in Tehran earlier this year if you remember, Burroughs won easily even though that was Akbari's first international match.

Here are some of the links for the match:

              Mat B direct link:

I really doubt Borroughs will be beat, a silver for Akbari is still a massive accomplishment and regardless of what colour his medal is... WE WON THE FREESTYLE team standings!!!

The bronze matches start at 1pm eastern time. The gold match follows after those are over.

Borroughs won but Akbari had a smart strategy and should be proud of his matches.

Akbari stayed very low to the ground with 1 hand almost on the mat for most of the time. Its a defensive strategy but it is very smart against a wrestler like Borroughs who is known for his incredibly fast speed/misdirection and explosiveness. Akbari was the first fighter that lasted the full 6 minutes against Borroughs during these championships. Unfortunately Akbari had almost no offence.

All in all it was an amazing day for Akbari. He beat some really tough opponents. Akbari was an unknown less than 9 months ago. This is his first real international tournament of note and he wins silver. Thanks to him, we locked up the free style team title. I think he has a bright future but borroughs is a league of his own.

Normally he dominates his opponents. This time he had two push outs and one 2 pointer.
Akbari had really low stands, which didn't allow Burroughs do anything special.
On the otherside Akbari hadn't anything to say either, I don't know how old he is, but he could beat Burroughs if he'd up his game more.
