Congratulations Iran Winning World Championships Freestyle Wrestling Title.
This is Iran's 5th World Championship Title but 1st outside Iran after 48 years.

Yes, it is an extremely impressive accomplishment considering Taghavi and Ghasemi messed up royaly. We need to thank the Indian wrestler who knocked out the Russian wrestler earlier in the bracket and we need to thank Akbari for his great performance today making it to the final. He definitely picked up the slack after ghasemi and taghavi.

But I cant help feel sad that our greco-roman world champions (Sourian, Nourozi, abdevali and rezaei) will not participate in this years world championship. If we had those studs, we would win both the freestyle and the greco team wrestling titles! What an accomplishment that would have been.

In the end though, I am VERY proud of our freestyle team for winning the team standing. I hope our greco-roman team can win a few medals in the coming days

On the other hand it might be beneficial to see young new wrestlers in our Greco-Roman squad. They can very well win the championship title as well.

for me the match winner (if you like) was the young internationally in-expereinced Kid, or I shall from now on say young Pahlevan "Ezzatollah Akbari" who made his way to the finals and secured the Silver for Iran!!!! I am proud.

Rasul Khadem seems to have done all the Right decision in wrestlers selection and preparation! Damesh garm!

our wrestlers get 20-30 million IF they are nr1 in their weight class and our fotballers get 1 billion if they make the 18man squad of any IPL team. and all of it is beytolmal what a disaster
