Stupid Idea and unfair to some European teams who had some tough time in the qualies and ended up just one point short or something.
Also Iran will never be invited, as we have to be the best in Asia, which we definitely aren't.

Good idea as there are clearly not enough teams in Europe for this competition.

something similiar happened in the 70ies (I think 1975 or 1976 or so) and that was the European Karate Championship that was held in IRAN.

The level of Iranian Karatekas was soo high back then, that exceptionally the European Karate Federation decided to hold the competition in Iran including the Iranian Karate team.............



I dont say this will be the case in football though..
