    Jaber Behrouzi (5. place)
    Sajad Behrouzi (10. place)

    Mens 77 kg.
    Rasoul Taghian (4. place.)

    Mens 94 kg.
    Alireza Dehghanghafarokhi (Didn't finish)

    Mens 105 kg.
Mohammad Reza Barari (Total 4 place and Bronze in Clean & Jerk)
    Kia Ghadami

    Mens 105+ kg.

Anybody who knows why Salimi and Sajjad Anoushiravani (The Olympic medal winners, first and second place) isn't there?

First each team can have at max 8 vaznebardar, and Zarei + Soleymani are not on that list.
We got Alireza Dehgan (Youth) tomorrow at 12H CET in 94Kg, he is there to beat the Youth WR.

That's an old story which was already discussed and the "Salimi vs Bagheri" thread.
All of our Olympic Team (except Sohrab Moradi) decided to leave the NT as long as Bagheri is the head coach and they won't return before that Rezazadeh fires him.

Things were going better on the beginning of the week with the nomination of a new Vice Minister of Sport who almost convinced all of these Ahmagh to come back but now that we got these disastrous results nothing is guaranteed yet.
But anyway, after the speaks of some of these 5 guys it seems almost impossible to see them working with Kourosh Khan one day.

      Iran300,

What do you think in particular about the effect of our poor showing at this year's Worlds will have about the Bagheri v Salimi situation? I think this will only make Salimi more por roo and inflate his ego along with the other lifters who boycotted Bagheri.

Over all, its a very sad situation. I believe Bagheri's story over Salimi's but even if Salimi is telling the truth about Bagheri using bad words I think it is ridiculous for a grown man to be so 'bacheh naneh'. It is training, it can get heated and a coach may say things. The solution is not to go on national TV and discuss it with all of Iran and then boycott the national team.

At the end of the day Salimi is the athlete, he has no place dictating who should coach the national team...

Exactly , this stupid Salimi only wanted this from the beginning as he said it in the TV programm to KG ("now that I'm not here who will win medals for you" ? ) showing how egocentric he became like Rezazadeh before him.
He will probably want more and take advantage of this situation, imposing his rules for returning in the team when a Champion would make everything to improve our level at the moment and resolve the problems.

Of course you're right, even if it was thrue which is it's absolutely not this is not the soulution. But everybody knows that he is lying, everytime he is asked to tell what did KB he only refuses the question. Actually nothing happened, they had hard trainings before 2012 OG like all athletes who wanted medals but after succeeding in they all became superstars in their minds. They wanted to have favours in trainings and others (tambal) ...
Then he didn't call them for the first camp and they start boycotting the team.

But by doing this they are only distroying their own careers as this is the easier championship in the coming years, some of them had an unique chance to win something great this year like Mohammadpour and Nasirshalal.

Today Dehgan was eliminated in 2Zarb, our last hopes are tommorow especially on Molaei

completely agree with everything you said. It is just so sad to see this and it happens too often. Its part of our culture, we win something and we become so egotistical and tambal. We become complacent and we think the world revolves around us. Salimi is the embodiment of what is wrong with Iranian athletes. Part of our problem could be attributed to such things as lack of funding, poor coaching but A LOT of it has to do with our culture and our tendencies.

                  Yes, Dastesh Dard Nakone

But still the leel was weak excepting the first 2.

Bahador Molaei has to compete in about 40 minutes, he is the last hope for Gold but it will be very tough seing the debut bars of his Rusian rival Ruslan Albegov (200+250= 450Kg) when he has 195+245= 440kg.

But I have hopes for 2 zarb competition, and if he is in a good day he will maybe attack Rezazadeh's record.

Molaei just got a silver in the jerk but he is now several kg's behind albigov. It will be hard for him to win the gold in the total category.

Molaei wins the gold in the clean and jerk and comes in 2nd over all. He nearly had the 261 Clean and Jerk which would have given him gold over all.

That bastard Salimi can get lost. I hope they never let him back on the national team. Molaei has so much potential and it shows that he can over take Salimi. I am so glad that even though we failed over all at these World's, our best medals came at Salimi's weight class.
