Aria Jasuru Hasegawa @ F.C. Tokyo 2013/14 updates

Ok Boys, it looks like tomorrow is the first game for F.C Tokyo since Aria has been on our radars.
They are playing against Vegalta Sendai at 8pm pst.
I'm trying to figure out where we can watch this game online.
Lets hope we see him on the starting 11.

Thanks for the thread. I really, really hope he joins Team Melli. That would make our participation in Brazil complete. People are heavily underestimating his qualities, I rate him much higher than Jabbari.

It all depends on what the outcome is between the talks of CQ and Hasegawa I guess.

Aria has told Nippon media, he prefers to play for Japan! CQ wants him but this is a tough one

I don't think we know yet if he has even accepted to play for TM..!???
I think he has been approached by IFF in past & he turned his nose at that time..! Off course earlier, we had not qualified to WC yet & he was in the Mix of Japan senior team hopefuls..! Things have changed drastically since, he seems very unlikely to make Japan's WC squad now & very likely to do so for TM..!
I'm eager to finally see for myself if he is as good as his billing on PFDC ..!?
We could certainly use more depths & quality in AM/CM in TM ..!

Actually it's very important to provide sources when you post such statements because it's an interesting case for us all to know if he wants to play for TM or Japan. We can't build on it without offical sources

                      Just saying

I don't recall him rejecting Team Melli, mistake me if I'm wrong with a legit interview. I think he has never been asked to play for TM before. But it's quite reasonable he used to prefer (or still does) Japan because he has been living their ever since he was born and is much more familiar with their football and culture. I really hope he somehow wants to play for Team Melli, but realistiaclly I doubt it. Btw, we still need to test Iranian-Chilean Manouchehri too. In contrast to Hasegawa, he stated that he is willing to play for Iran.

He was not good enough for some of our clubs, they didn't want him, so I doubt TM needs or wants him.
But I have to say it's totally understandable if he chooses Japan over Iran, since as much Iranian he is, he is equally Japanese, but lives in Japan which is why he would probably also prefer Japan. But the question is will he pass on having a chance to play in the world cup? If he is good enough.

Thanks for the information. Do you know which clubs? Could play a role too. I agree, Hasegawa realistically will not choose for TM. But playing in a World Cup is an opportunity that comes few times in a life time, so why not take a shot? We need this lad.
