Any team sport player needs to have skill and dedication. Skill we all know, but dedication not only to training and their future, but dedication to a manger's plan and the team. Meaning they view themselves as a small part of a larger team.
IPL players with the exception of a few, only rely on skill. And that only takes you so far. Sadeghian and Mosalman are still young, if they make the right choices their skill can open doors for them, but they need dedication to keep the doors opening for them. Our best examples are Mahdavikia, Hashemian and Nekunam. Their skill got them to top leagues, but their dedication kept them there.
Players like Majidi and Kazemian, etc... used their skill to only advance from one micky mouse league to the next. They never learned dedication and only sought their own advancement. That's why they never amounted to anything.
The reason CQ like players who were trained abroad is because they understand this idea of dedication and that football is a team sport. They have received proper training of what it means to be a footballer. We see that very clearly in Dejagah and Gucci. They always make decisions that benefit the team.
As for Aria, I don't think anyone can say if he is more skilled than our other options, but I can guarantee you that he is more dedicated and a better team player simply because he was raised in Japan's system and not our micky mouse league.
Also @ shahname, he isn't really comparable to sadeghian or mosalman as he is a different style player but in his own respect, I'd say he is equally as promising, if not more. He will give ebrahimi and haghighi a run for their money at the DM spot in the future. From what I've seen, I would definitely take him over ebrahimi and maybe even haghighi, he certainly seems more reliable than the two.Team Meli Iran

Both Alishah and Sadeghian have shown very unprofessional behavior. I do agree that they can be coached into team players. But Sadeghian has already complained about not being in TM and Alishah is a diving queen. He is Perspolis's answer to Majidi. I don't think either are TM material.
Mosalman on the other hand is promising.راه یکی است و آن راستی است

So after seeing that interview I think it's safe to say the chances of aria playing for TM is almost zero. I don't like sounding pessimistic but in reality how is someone who was born and raised in japan and is also half Japanese going to give up his Japanese citizenship in order to play for Iran? Only someone who has a strong connection with Iran would do such a thing, and aria's dad confirmed he wasn't brought up around Iranians like RGN and Dejagah have. Still, I will hope and welcome him in TM as he would be a huge asset but I'm not getting my hopes up after hearing that interviewTeam Meli Iran

after a quick google search I have found some loopholes, they are even on wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanes...al_nationality
if the iranian government gives him honrary citizenship, then he can keep both citizenships
basically the law is that if you didn't apply for another country's citizenship and they just give it to you then its okay to be a dual citizen
