I don't mind Iranians changing first names to fit in better in foreign countries but selling out your last name is a huge insult to your own generation & a big no no in my book too ..!
But then again it's not Aria's fault his dad is a wanker, sell out ..!
Aria is about as cool of an Iranian name as they come..!
Personally, I wanna first see if this guy is really all that & a bag of chips before I render my verdict on his eligibility to play for my TM..!
He is gotta be a head and shoulder above other domestic options for me to put away all my prejudices ..!
Navad asked the same question but then it was mentioned that in Japan that's how they deal with last names, they combine them. Jasur is his father's last name and Hasegawa his mothers. Not sure how true that is but that's the explanation.
Personally I don't think it matter one bit.راه یکی است و آن راستی است

Aria Jasuru Hasegawa @ F.C. Tokyo 2013/14 updates
Theo whole getting father's surname thing will be a thing of history once mankind evolves to full sex equality. Comments in this thread is kind of a testament on what links Iranians to the backward middle eastern culture.
Why can't we look beyond this unnecessary nationalism? Why is Aria's dad is insulted for putting Jasoor behind his wife's surname? His action is deemed as putting Iranian culture below Japanese. Why so extreme?
I am even more disappointed with members who live outside of Iran and demonstrate this behaviour.Team faghat PERSPOLIS

It's going to be hard following FC Tokyo's matches but we should do our best. The next match tomorrow against Vegalta Sendai away in the Emperor Cup match 05:00 Amsterdam time. I hope Hasegawa starts, before I decide to set my alarm early.
I don't know a single thing about both teams so can't provide any other information other than saying that FC Tokyo is currently ranked 8th and Vegalta Sendai 14th.
There better be a live stream!
