I suppose they can't do any worse than the US who in 1994 did not have a pro league, had hardly any players in Europe and their national team was drawing less than 10K on average.

Well it's better than giving it to Qatar. That 94 US team shocked the world they qualified in the 2nd round and gave Brazil a run for their money only losing 1-0. What stuck in my head was that dirty Brazilian player getting a red card. Still with 10 men USA could not capitalize. I still feel bad for Escobar poor guy.

Well let's see for starters it's going to be a gagillion degrees in the summer time and I DON'T KNOW PERHAPS THEY USE THE WORD A-RABIAN GULF ALL THE TIME and this will be a means for them to use that propaganda on the world stage. They also most likely bribed some people to get that bid. You must be joking right this must be a joke nobody likes Qatar.
Oh I also forgot Qatar is a Muslim country so what are they going to do with tourists who want to drink alcohol? Half of the reason why people watch soccer games to begin with is to get $hitfaced.

No footballing culture, have never qualified for any World Cup, import foreigners to play for their NT. Let's not forget slavery under workers from East-Asia and the Sharia law. I'm not even halfway yet.

It would be perfect, I'd say the only downside to it would be the long distance of traveling for the players. So far we only have 3 good stadiums. Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.

I want Canada to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Everyone knows qatar doesn't deserve the World Cup. They are not a footballing nation. Money shouldn't buy everything, honestly.

I think if Canada gets underway soon with their preparation, one could even say that they might get the right to host 2022 instead. Coming out and speaking in the media about it is the first step. They have 7 years to prepare and build for the World Cup.

Canada deserves to host it more than qatar does.

From my experience Canada is very pleasent and their winters are not bad to me but then again I like the cold. I visited a buddy in Calgary for a few months and I was not cold. Of course there is a reason why I am in Alaska. I would be down with Canada getting the WC bid or even Mexico a CONCACAF country not named USA should get it.

Only a handful of cities in canada that can host a major international tournament, toronto is one of them. vancouver is another and montreal /quebec perhaps. the rest of them probably have nothing
