If you read the FIFA rules it says that if the foul is made before entering the penalty box, but continues into the penalty box it is a penalty...

if you look at the foul on messi it started outside of the box, but there was still contact in the box which made messi fall in the box

how many big $ players did we buy? we had a short period of secco who wasted our money on players that we're still paying for but that was a long time ago. we bought nedved with zidane money...we didnt go around spending ridiculous amounts at multiple players every summer like psg, real madrid or man city do now days. hell right now we barely even pay up more than 15 mil for players and we built an amazing team.

its just that the ridicuous big $ spending needs to stop. its ruining the game, its killing careers, it takes the excitement and competitiveness out of the game. PSG is trying so hard to get pogba, they are poking at him every week with something new. why cant these teams just give a chance to their players for a few years before buying someone else? it seems like those teams always want the flavor of the week no matter how good their current players are. early in january psg was trying to offer 40 mil for pogba...then we didnt entertain they raised it to 70 mil, we still refused, now its rumors of 80 mil and by the time it comes to summer and after a good world cup, they will prob cough up 100 mil or whatever. its just too much, no player should be worth that much. one player shouldnt be worth more than a whole team in the same league. anyway i dont wanna go into this whole topic cuz its a long one but i hope for the sake of the game, these big spenders get stopped at some point by some kind of law cuz its slowly killing the game. a lot of people have lost interest and the pool of TRUE contenders each year gets less and less...if 10 years ago it was 8-10 teams that were potential contenders, now its 2-3

Napoli could have been in this stage, for the first time in champions league history 3 teams finished with 12 points in the group, 1. dort, 2.arsenal 3. napoli, but napoli finished 3rd on goal differnce

it stems from jealousy of some sort instead of appreciating the game. truth is italian teams whether NT or clubs have always put up entertaining matches, whether they lose or win. so they dont always get the best of results but surely they make headlines and put up good games. Its funny especially hearing it from English fans where the NT is absolute crap and they always give shit to italy for playing defensive when u saw clearly in euros how italy was the attacking team and england played park the bus. Having good defense and tactics doesnt mean defensive or park the bus. i dont even remember the last time an italian team played defensive, that style is way old but the haters always want to stick that to italy no matter how they perform. Its just funny cuz italy manages to still win generation after generation so how can it be a fluke each time? also notice how many italian managers are around the world...that says a lot about the football system and the tactics. just cuz of economy and money the league is not doing good, doesnt take away from the success of the system and even during these bad times, italian teams still manage to get some kind of results, they sure arent some pushovers. anyway the hating just gets old and childish after time. let the game speak for itself.

Its not about questioning italy's and italian teams's results or success, but i find the fans fail to aknowledge any sort of short coming or negative aspect to the their teams AT ALL, i mean every single point you make against they have an arguement, there is not such thing as perfect football but apparently to fans of italian football it is.


Wow what a game by Arsenal, considering bayern are the best in the world i'm proud of the performance despite now being down to 10 men against them, the chances of winning now are slim and the best i could hope for is a 0-0 draw but I'm happy so far we havent been thrashed.
