I prefer Baseball....

I think most iranians if asked to selecet between Cricket or Baseball would also say Baseball.


Reason is: Cricket is British. Baseball is American. We love America. We speak American accent. We think American. We smell American. We are American.

Iran is an affiliate to ICC (International Cricket Council) since 2003 but not active. There was one body that looked after baseball and cricket but i think they are more into baseball than cricket.

there was one body for 4 sports, Cricket, Rugby, Baseball and Softball, later they divided it to two federations, one for Baseball and Softball and one for Rugby and Cricket but again later they dissolved both and merged them with other non-popular/weird sports like sepaktakraw, Tug of war and etc to make a new federation "Federation of Sport Associations"

This federation is responsible for all these sports in Iran and it just shows how much popular are these sports in Iran !
