Yazdani versus Gatsalov

I am very excited about that possibility. These 2 guys are the 2 biggest beasts in wrestling along with Jordan Borroughs. I love the way Yazdani wrestles, so compact but so fast and so powerful. He has that swagger about him. You know when he comes on the mat the opponent knows he is in trouble. I am very excited about the freestyle World Cup. Iran will dominate!

Personally, I don't rate JB as high as Palang. You may think my reason is patriotic. But the thing is that Yazdani is a complete wrestler, competing at a much tougher weight class. JB is a one trick pony. All he do is leg-attacks and push-outs. It is only a matter of time before his opponents find ways to beat him. At Yasar Dogu he lost against a nobody, marable. JB can't even gut-wrench, it's pathetic.

unfortunately, this matchup may be cancelled as Gatsalov apparently didnt get a visa to the US. This according to the mat forums which is an american wrestling forum. This site is also very good for those of you who want to be updated with Iran wrestling:

I believe Iran and Armenia competes at march 15 20:00 CET. Also USA - Iran will compete at March 16 02:30 CET. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I gotta admit, I really respect Gatsalov as a wrestler. Competing at 120 kg and winning it big at the Worlds.

But I still believe both Gatsalov and that joke of a wrestler, Varner are hiding. Lol

According to FILA's report yesterday Gataslov will be competing in the 97kg so he will face Yazdani if both Iran and Russia make it to the final which they surely will.

Also guys I made a thread about this tournament, can we go participate there?
