Of course it matters, remember the Netherlands of two years ago that crashed out of the group stages at Euro 2012?

Today for Netherlands their players from EPL (besides the world class Van Persie) were Ron Vlaar of Aston Villa and Jonathon de Guzman of Swansea City. Both solid players for mid-level clubs and nothing more. If they were Spanish, they wouldn't have even been considered for the national team. But Van Gaal had them come out firing and they deservedly crushed the world champions. That is impressive and well done, damesh garm.

Best result! After Iran, Holland and Columbia are my favs. Holland has had so much heartbreak getting to the finals and losing (not just in 2010). Nice for them, and I loved the way they played the game. Costa getting booed was equally fun
