If one is born and raised in the country of who he is playing for then it's absolutely no problem at all.

Qatar is importing players from Africa and South America which is totally different.

The western countries are at the forefront of dilution of pure national identity. That is why you see non-original Swiss players playing for their NT. Same with Germany, England, Italy, Belgium, France, and Holland. Spain field the purest ethnic team of the so called western states. It's because unlike Iran, most Western countries have been the new homes of many foreigners who immigrated to these countries and got their citizenship. In the west once you become a citizen, then you equally gain all privileges and advantages of any other citizen of the respective country, there will not be any discrimination of any sort, every citizen by law is to be treated equally, and that includes getting invited to their national teams.

I think Iran is the only nation in the world that morally denounces and denies such simple privileges.

One of the main attributions to this mentality is Iran and Iranians extreme nationalism and prejudice.
