Crazy part about this group is that no matter who wins this game its still not automatic qualification!

italians seem aweful slow as a team
or is it the Costa ricans who are making them seem such..?

dame costa rica garm, they were the best team in region's WCQualifing too..!!
they are really stepping up to plate at WC and playing to their full potential...!
fking ref denied them of a clear PK too due to big team favoritism...
      1-0 HT

WE SHOULD SNATCH PINTO AFTER THE WORLD CUP FOR PROBABLY 1/5th of CQ's Salary...!!??
its about time we tried to immulate our football after the SAmericans than keep wasting time on Domestic rookie coaches or scavenger hunting C grade Eastern EU mercenary coaches..!!

You cant say costa rican players are that much better than iranian ones. I think queiroz has just said multiple times that they suck so they have no confidence and just play defensive. If costa rica can do it in a harder group I dont see why iran couldnt

Guys this is a silly question but is the Damian who plays for Italy the same Damian who was Masoud and Nekounam's teammate at Osasuna?

Edit: nevermind realized it's Matteo Darmian. Silly British accent through me off lol

I dunno guys. CR roster is not that much different than Iran's. I have to admit, I really liked their style of play. Congrats to them.

Omg, what a win by CR. They have been so impressive thus far. In fact, CONCACAF outside Honduras has thus far had impressive results. Asia has been by far the worst conference.

England is officially eliminated and its too bad Italy didn't lose by 2 goals, had they lost by 2 goals Uruguay's GD would be better and a tie in their final match with Italy would eliminate Italy.

Uruguay now needs to beat Italy in their final match and CR and Uruguay will come up from this group.

First Spain, then England and now possibly Italy. The South American curse on European teams continues.
