On red card, Suarez deserved it well.
Up to now, Mexico and Netherlands have been playing very well.
aa jan france has brazil's number..from what i remember 3 times france has eliminated brazil but i can not remember brazil ever beating france.

      he should've brought Rossi

but beside that italy was doing fine up until the red card. they were holding most of the possession, they were the ones attacking...there was nothing from uruguay really. he was unlucky again, just like the Euro 2012 final

people forget that he almost won that tournament if it wasnt for all those injuries in the final. he did great with reviving italy...but in the end he made some wrong choices and couldnt make up his mind on his formations and final team and it cost him dearly.

I thought Rossi was injured and that's why he wasn't invited.

You had to be blind to say Italy actually played well. This last two games from Italy were probably the worst I've seen from them in the past decade. People keep blaming Balotelli for underachieving in this World Cup but so did 90% of Italy's roster- that is the truth. The only player that impressed me in that squad was Pirlo which was no surprise and Verratti.

To get to the red card incident I'd say it was a bit harsh but justified red card for Marchisio. This angle makes it for me. http://gfycat.com/WickedCreamyCero

yea its always ok when italians get robbed in matches. its funny how the world works.

the suarez red had everything to do with the result. he shoulda been sent off. the goal came right after when italy is a man down, so yea on a corner you have less people defending therefore the goal.

but again i dont think any of this matters cuz when italy gets robbed its all good. just like 2002 WC

if something like this happened to iran, none of you here would be saying this lol

              .
              definitely agree.
I was 100% sure Italy would lose the match against Uruguay. Balotelli was a disaster and was playing karate during his time of playing against Uruguay. It was mainly Uruguay that was attacking and not Italy. The young kid, Verrati was one of the few who was very focused on the match.
As the French commentators were saying, there were several faults of Chiellini on Cavani and the referee didn't see.
At the end, I haven't seen a serious threat from Italy. It was mainly Uruguay that was doing the job.

During this WC, Italy played well only one time - against England. The two other matches were horrible. It is sad how Italy is going down. Even if I'm not an Italy supporter but I don't like these great teams get eliminated first round.

what attack did uruguay have? couple of half ass chances that were defended easily. there was no goal coming until italy went down to 10 men

yes balotelli was a jack ass and cost the team. he killed the attack with his antics. and yes italy didnt play great after the england game but they were going thru with a tie against uruguay so they werent really down. it was uruguay who had to win but were hardly impressive. cavani and suarez the 2 supposed best attackers of today were dispossessed easily many times.

Ekky, you make a mistake if you think Italy played even well last night. Italy didn't worry Uruguay.
Don't forget the match took place in South America and there were probably 100 Italians for 10000s of Uruguayans.

Ah cry me a river like if you're the only team in the World Cup who gets bad calls and decisions.
Italy were going for a draw in that match and it was plain stupid and you gotta blame Prandelli for it just because his plan was simply not going to work.

One more thing I couldn't care less if that happened to Iran or what ever team, you just gotta understand that mistakes and bad decisions happen and the beauty of football is when a team could overcome these boundaries.
I wish I would support a team like Italy that have won the World Cup in the previous years and had a fantastic team, I'm stuck every tournament with the same England team that we all know as fans that they will do horrible. We went on this tournament with low expectations and still underperformed.
