Such a tough one to call. Colombia have only beaten Brazil once in 14 or so head to head matches, but the last 4 or 5 games have all finished a tie.

There's obviously a lot of pressure on Brazil to win this game, although the impression I got from almost all Brazilians when we were down there, was that they did not think they have a good enough team to win the tournament.

This may not be the best Brazilian team on paper, but if you looked at them as not being Brazil and just another team, they have actually put up a very good unified performance and always bounced back from going down a goal. I also think Columbia is more of a one man show than Brazil at the moment and they lack the international experience at this level.

For those reasons I give Brazil the edge in this game. Regardless, it should be a game and an amazing atmosphere with boisterous Brazilian fans going up against a wild Colombian crowd.

Why I want Colombia to win it:

In all seriousness, I hope Colombia wins the World Cup. They have impressed the most and play beautiful football. I hope they teach Neymar and co some lessons, because they didn't perform for shit. Were it not for unlucky Chile to hit the post in the dying minutes of the game, they would have been eliminated already. I really can't stand this Brazil team! Vamos Colombia!

Colombia is the only team left in the tournament to win all of its games in regulation time.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Friends of yours? If so, please let me know so I can book my flight to Holland. Thank you.

Why Brazil winning isn't so bad either...

But in all fairness, if Brazil loses, these stadiums will be left empty, however, I prefer Columbia to win, because after Iran, Columbia and Holland are who I root for (of course way after Iran).....btw your logic is a bit misguided. Had Wondowloski finished that point blank shot in front of the net, USA would have defeated Belgium with no time remaining and won the game 1-0. No one in their right mind believes USA deserved to beat Belgium as Howard was the only reason they weren't scored on 5 or 6 times. Chile was outplayed by Brazil, and yes they had a few nice chances, but Brazil earned that victory.

Anways, I still prefer Columbia, as James Rodriguez is amazing, and they are playing beautiful without arguably their best player in Falcao!

Ref is terrible! Hulk, Paulinho, and David Luiz fouling left and right, and it took maybe 7 cautions before Thiago Silva was carded. James commits one foul, not even serious and he is carded immediately. Too many whistles, and very lopsided officiating.

Commentator believes the 2nd goal was goal keeper's fault.

Can't say this is undeserved, Colombia played fantastic in all their previous games but today they are totally invisible and everything goes wrong.
