Whilst I do feel that Silva and Neymar's absences could still unify the Brazilians to try and prove a point without them even in front of their passionate crowd, the way the team has played up to now in this tournament doesn't inspire much confidence that they could win. Football does work in mysterious ways sometimes and it very well is still possible that they go on to win this game and the cup in the end, but I'll go with a narrow German win here, just because they look like they have found the right formula and are hitting their stride at just the right moment.

This one's definitely going to be tough for Brazil to pull-off without Neymar and Silva. It was always going to be a tough task for them to get past Germany even with those 2 players, but I think it's a near impossibility at this point.

Having said that, they have been gracious hosts and as a nation, they really need something to latch on to at the moment and although I am a HUGE Germany fan, I will cheer for the better team today.

there are some rumors that neymar will play in this game or even the finals...i like germany but football wise even this Brazilian team is still better than germany. imo brazil vs argentina is the most likely of finals because they are the best two teams in the tournament anyways. i hope Europeans go home with nothing which has been the case for 99% of the world cups held outside of europe.
