I watched the game. Very entertaining.

Don't want to sound critical, Chinese Taipei was alright but knowing what Iran is capable of, this game should have been finished by HT or Q3. Too many missed opportunities. Our defence needs to improve and watch out for them 3 points better like they used to do by shutting down the likes of China who were bloody dangerous couple years ago. Arsalan Kazemi did not do as well as he can. He was playing at 50%. Maybe he's saving himself for the upcoming season in US. Haddadi and Sahakian being consistent as always. Anyhow this team did great and deserved to be Asian Champs again without the likes of Davoudi, Kamrani, and Bahrami.

It was a A/B Hybrid team. Freaking Haddadi was there he is the A TEAM!
Anyway China used their B team(not a hybrid such as us) (Not Taiwan or i don't know about Taiwan actually maybe they used a b team to)

we didn't have most of our starting 5 though, No Kamrani, no Bahrami, no Davoudi. but you are right it was a hybrid. it was a good decision though. the two young guys Yakhchali (only 18) and Mashayekhi are amazing. the young players have to gain experience somewhere

we are not good and the asian teams are just awful!! i watched all the games and it is too frustrating to watch the games or even iran play. too many unforced errors, bad turnovers, silly mistakes etc...... this team WILL struggle in world cup and we might only be able to get just one win, even if that against Egypt.

our best and experienced player HH, players like a low IQ retarded kid who just started playing basketball, no leadership, no effort etc.... for the same reason he is not playing nba basketball right now.

but anyways congratulation on this victory, i really hope Arsalan plays nba ball so he can lead this team in the future

This is the Asia Cup, not the Asian Championships.

We've won 3/4 previous Asian Championships and 2/2 of the previous Asia Cups. Asia Cup is essentially the "Asian Games" of basketball while the Asian Championships are the equivalent of the Asian Cup. With the Asian Championships the stakes are really high b/c you also qualify for other tournaments by finishing on the podium.

I meant in terms of importance. I was trying to associate it with football.
