That was just a rumor which gained momentum.

Well, he was born in Itabira, Brazil. How likely is it that his parents were born in Qatar?

Uhm. no. Wikipedia and Transfermarkt says he never played in Qatar, so stop putting words in others mouths.

Here is another source showing when he left Qatar from Al-Sharma to Atletico Miniero:

Unfortunately whenever you fabricate and lie to tell the "truth" there is always someone who can do the research and prove you wrong. Now please stop talking.

Did you look at my link. It has far more information than you do.
Go look again and find out where Wikipedia is wrong.

Also he scored a goal in the only game he played. This is what happens when you trust wikipedia.

given Brazil's stellar performance in the WC, I would be glad if they naturalized the entire Brazil-U23 team and make them even less competitive by serving them humus, Ghuzi and all the typical qatari cuisine.

Well, let them have the entire Brazil's National team the big losers. Plus many countries are doing it. Look at the Spain with that big Brazilian forward , but was kicked out of the WC in group stage. Those who are doing it for money they never put their heart out for another country.

Atleast edinho had been living in Iran for several years and was familiar with our country, culture, language, etc. Whereas this dude has none of the above in relation to Qatar from what it looks like.

Playing with gheyrat for your country comes a long way. Just look at how we played against Argentina. You think anyone would've tried that hard if he was naturalized? He got his money and a comfortable life to lead...

                        Again it doesn't worry me.

Who cares what Qatar does. They are an anti-football nation and will do whatever it takes to tilt the advantage to their side. FIFA is the real problem, with its MAFIA tactics and lack of involvement in ASIA. Let them field 11 naturalized players. If any thing, they may play classier football instead of Qatari style football.

It makes sense for Qatar to do something like this to stay ahead of Germany, Belgium, Sweden and France. Let's start a petition to allow Qatar to participate in the 2016 European Random Nationality Cup in France.

reinan oliveira sounds like an arab name to me, born in brazil to at least one qatari parent?!! pdot jan so let's compare daniel DAVARI, born with dual citizenship to an iranian father, which the easy information can be found if you spend 2 minutes of your life...seems legit.
