MLS will become a top league in a few years

MLS has to be better than the Mexican league first, and they have shown no indication of wanting to do that. The Mexican league clubs offer bags of money to Argentinian and other South American players looking for a pay day and that puts them over the top. MLS can get washed up stars from Europe, but apparently that isn't enough because they still haven't won any Champions League titles in North America. And if they can't win in North America, they don't deserve to be in the South American Copa Sudamerica and Copa Libertadores...
It's a joke to think they can be a top league, when they aren't even the top league in their own continent. Suriname has more CONCACAF Champions League Titles than MLS!!!"I'm here to clean the carpets. Most of the world is carpeted. And, one day, we will do the cleaning."

The point is 2/16 is much less than 12/16, which is the fraction of titles the Mexicans have in the last 16 years... that has to change before MLS becomes anything comparable to the lower leagues of Europe. Don't try to sell the idea that the Mexican teams are as good as the European teams, because if that was true, there would be as many Mexicans in Europe as there is Brazilians and Argentinians."I'm here to clean the carpets. However I think many Mexicans stay in Mexico simply because of the high pay and being able to play at home. The Brazilian and Argentine leagues pay significantly lower. The only ones that seem to leave are the ones who get offers from the very elite clubs of Europe Like Chicharito at Manchester United, Marquez at Barcelona or going further back, Hugo Sanchez at Real Madrid. If it's a choice for them between mid level European clubs and staying home, they stay home.I went to Sharif University.
