We were talking about that same thing on the Egyptian forums... the lack of a finisher in yesterday's game. Our local strikers are not in great form, so a guy like Zidan or Mido to finish off all those attacks should have been worth a goal at least. roy bro u sure u not misri . you speak the language a little too well. iran and egypt really are pretty much mirror images of each other with the style of play. its too bad we can't join in the fun because i think we at least deserve to be there over teams like angola, togo, and trinidad, but I have a feeling insha Allah Iran will make us all proud. this is the first time they wore the white jerseys rostam. kinda plain but i guess black and white is a safe combo. Egypt wore the red ones during the entire African Cup.

I think it would be a good move for him. He fits the premiership pretty well. plus Blackburn is in the UEFA Cup next year like Tottenham will be.

Not quite... Iran and Saudi have both won the Asian cup 3 times. Iran appeared in the semi-finals five other times achieving 3rd place 4 times, whereas the Saudis made it twice and went home with two silvers. Therefore Iran has a slightly better record than Saudi Arabia in the Asian Cup.
