Great result today, which makes me think it was always part of Kovac's system to play a weaker game against USA during the tournament a few weeks back. He must have been thinking ahead because it was like night and day.



BTW, where are you getting such good images from the matches? Are their any videos available for those who missed the game? The FIVB website is terrible with no match photos or vids at all!

Great lesson for our football section (basketball is following the volley path hopefully) : In football, our league suxx? our zone (asia) is weak? European leagues snubs any iranian talents? No problem, hire a decent foreign coach, and play friendlies against the top teams (and they is numerous top or good national teams to play against). Play these friendlies without fear, get trashed at the beginiing, learn from it and one day you will lose closely, then draw, and then win.
